World's an Illusion
Dreams killed
on reality’s gild
make life unfulfilled
What a conclusion?
Friends grilled
over lies spilled
leave trust milled
What a collusion?
Lovers billed
for hearts tilled
destroy love’s guild
What an occlusion?
Money and greed
for power bid
a kid respected
What a confusion?
Happiness wringed
in marriages ringed
by prenups inked.
What a delusion?
Fame minted
on stars printed
on sidewalks passed.
What a contribution?
Ideals silenced
in ideas marketed
by companies’ that lead.
The World’s an Illusion!
