The World's Imprint

The World has made its imprint on my face

Its' cultures lie within my very skin, flesh

My heart loves all I have seen, all I know

Landscapes from Europe to Asia stain me.

Ink oceans, all of the seven seas and lakes

Twirl tides within my every emotion, bringing

Briny teardrops like the heaviest rain down me

Smudging the earth in wars, disease, and sorrow.

Tomorrow is but another day in this World...

My world, your world, OUR World we built.

We have made to destroy or to heal, as we will.

My will for it is painted on my skin for all to see.
