The World's Not Like That


Nine to five

That's how the real world runs.

Five days a week

That's how the big kids play.

It's summertime, I've got loans to pay

And I've got to step into bigger shoes.

Suddenly, it's all work and no play

And to think I used to want to grow up.

Living it, the life of an adult, 

Makes me want to hit stop and rewind.

But the world's not like that.
