Worn

They'll tear you down,
They'll rip you apart,
They'll make you question
Everything in your heart

They'll tell you you're not worthy
They'll tell you you're not special
They'll tell you you're fat
You're ugly
You're nothing

They'll tell you its all you're fault
They'll tell you you're meaningless
They'll tell you you screw everything up
They'll tell you you can't do anything right

They'll break you down
They'll make you feel awful
They'll wear down your emotions
They'll make you hurt inside

Suddenly you realize "they" don't exist
They becomes you
It was you all along
The things "they" said was misconstrued

The evil thoughts
They penetrate your mind
Your thoughts become demons
They are your axe to grind

Our minds can be powerful
But they can be detrimental, too
We call it our "own worst enemy"
But darling thats You.
