Worries
Worries
You tell me you want me but do you?
GAD didn’t kill me but it did to you
Maybe everything is a dream
All my worries are about you
I play the role you want me to, to be used over and over again
Nothing makes me happier and sadder than you
If fairy tales have taught us anything, it's that we fall in love with short stories
Sometimes I thought I had that chance to be with you but when I took the chance you’d make me realize I never did
Worries are just in your mind I would tell myself, but the more you try to hide it the more it shows and the more you deny it the more it grows
I think to myself that my GAD is something I was born with but when I come to realization, it was given by you
“How lucky am I to have something that makes goodbyes so hard.” says Winnie Poo well I guess I’m just that unlucky guy
This isn’t how it's supposed to be, there's always the happy ending right? I guess I’ll just keep waiting
Sometimes I ask myself what is more deadly, a gun or a thought
A gun gives you the opportunity but the thought pulls the trigger
What's the point of waiting when in the end you’ll just leave
So I’m sitting here learning that there's such thing as a one-sided relationship
I try to make it a habit to be positive
I have so many worries because of you but without you I don’t feel anything, I guess that's better or worse
I guess going back to the day we met was a mistake
We wanted the love in the bottle without it shattering
Was it my worry? That made us broken?
All my worries are just in my head
