Worry
Dear worry,
Will you ever be content?
How you maintain yourself powerful.
How effortlessly it grasps you.
How much it affects your mind.
It does not compare to your other emotions.
No, once it touches it dominates.
Don't underestimate worry.
it seems but a pebble in a pond,
resting, but does it ever rest?
waiting-piling up until you're vulnerable and its powerful.
Downplaying worry is equivalent to stepping in a cage full of snakes.
It's only a matter of time before you take a bite of the apple.
Soon, it will pounce on you.
How many deaths?
Blaming it on their surroundings but whose truly responsible?
Love finishes last once you gave it the backseat on the road of worry.
Emotions drive you insanse,
but which emotions?
Evil, smart, twisted
Worry will always have the upperhand.
Are you really in charge?
Give it the oppurtunity and it won't let you down.
Will you allow it to win?
It already did once you let it inside of you.
It will eat you alive, but
it can't enter your home unless you open the door.
