The Worst.

I was suspicious at first.

Denying the imminent hurt

I didn’t want to believe it.

My mind wouldn’t conceive it

Maybe it was my lack of knowledge

Or the pain that came with knowing,

Did I want to live in the truth,

Or relish with a lie?

Either way it went my heart was to surely die

I thought it was a joke

An act clearly meant to hurt

But when your boyfriend tells you

He got another girl pregnant

That pain surely hurts the worst.
