The worst week of my life

1. There are instances in every person's life 2. when they feel alone...distorted 3. where they feel betrayed and disconnected from society 4. There has been a time where I have felt this way 5. Secluded... 6. ...Alienated from the world 7. It was about two years ago 8. When the doctors forcefully pushed my father into the Intensive care unit 9. I stay stayed, slept, and ate at the hospital... 10. ...waiting for something horrible to drip from the doctor's mouth 11. Yes, I cried...my father had a ten percent chance to escape death 12. Enormous amounts of ideas were running through my head 13. ...through my mind 14. These ideas weren't necessarily good 15. but they also were not driven from bad intentions 16. I knew without my dad, I would have to provide 17. I knew that I would have to provide for my siblings...for my house...for my life 18. I knew I would have to drop school 19. Drop school... and get a job 20. I had decided that my life...my life no longer belonged to myself 21. Education was no longer my goal 22. I remember sitting alone 23. in a corner...and I heard everyone 24. everyone...except for myself 25. My innocence and my chastity was leaving me 26. Thoughts like these were decomposing my mind 27. My mind-and-my soul 28. Once I had thought about God 29. Maybe I did something wrong? 30. Maybe this was my fault? 31. Was it because I laughed at that joke? 32. Was it because I said that demented word? 33. Was it because I spoke my mind? 34. Whatever it was....it was scratching through my skin 35. Scratching through my flesh....and it would eventually reach my heart 36. I felt my father's foot...it felt dead 37. As I felt it I looked up...and his eyes slowly opened 38. And I was no longer alone
