Worth A Shot

The sun comes up, like it does every day but how many more times will we have the chance to say the words in our mind, left unsaid the words on the paper, left unread. Of all the months, days and years how many times will we hold back our tears? Of sadness, frustration, guilt and denial, how much longer will it take while you wait all this while looking back on opportunities to help or do something new. How many times have you been disappointed in you? We are the only things in our way- stopping ourselves from seeing a bright new day. Do something different, try something new and you may just find the clue that will lead you to the path that will help you learn that you only get what you earn. Reach up high, look up at the sky, and realize that even the greatest people were where you stood just standing there wondering if they should take the chance, make the leap into the unknown so deep. Nobody would be where they are if they too, did not look upon a star and see that to get somewhere they have to ignore the roar of the crowd and listen more carefully to the voice inside that says everything is worth a try.
