Worthwhile

Nothing but time has been wasted? I am young, not naive, and be as it may I can type, I can count, and wake early each day my mind has endured where my feet could not tread I have scribed symphonies only teachers have read and what have I gained? a chance for degree? a shot at a life that my parents foresee? I am not yet prepared for a winding career but I can say I'm blessed and that I hold no fear For my ears have yet opened and eyes been held wide And I hope yours have, too, for in YOU I confide: Nothing but DOUBT has been wasted
