Worthwhile

Grounding me, similar to the acts of a ship’s anchor

You are my stability.

Anxiously waiting to hit land,

We met,

like wave greeting beach

After a long journey sat in between.

Gratitude for patience,

I owe till this day.

We set sail,

Friendship and strong faith.

With seas that move point “x” to a new spot,

Treasure is in all memories,

Whether in moved home, or travelled mile.

I’ve found myself inside the obstacles we have begun to face

Distance is inevitable

Soul mates always find a way.
