Wouldn't do Without

One thing that I cannot live without.
Only one.
It is always there for me,
Always brings me glee.
Does it have feelings?
Yes, though sometimes I cannot tell.
Though I know when it is always happy.
It brought me to a new place in life.
A place where I am happy and proud.
A place where you can conquer strife.
It taught me to be who I really am.
Just me, not a fake me.
It forgave me for the harm I caused,
And knows we all have our own flaws.
It lured me into the nerd life,
Though sometimes I second that.
The one thing I cannot bear to lose.
It is beautiful, loving and worth dying for.
If it was just one thing and me,
The one thing would be my best friend, my crony.
She has all the knowledge you need.
The nerd knowledge.
She is loving, forgiving, beautiful and smart.
And what is worst than losing her?
Nothing. I would rather die.
I would die before I would live without her.
My best friend, my crony.
