Wounded healer

Stabbed in the back but still shows up Legs taken away but he still walks forward How do you help others when you can't yourself How do you still smile when you can't get any relief Offers hope but feels hopeless Offers encouragement but is discouraged The more steps taken the deeper the knife is driven The darkness is painted over with a vibrant paintbrush The more the brush covers the more his heart is helped The smile forcefully appears on his face He gives his advice See's the paint thinning He Tastes the disappointment reluctantly Like a lioness missing her hunt He can't hold on to the paint as it disappears And he's with his depression looking even more clearer Life isn't fair to anyone he had to learn the hard way They want more to right their wrongs And he wanted more for what he's paying
