THE WOUNDED HEART
THE WOUNDED HEART
In the blues of unspoken words,
With silence dominating every space,
My innocent eyes down casted in the yards,
Only if,i knew of my next phase,
I would not waste my genuine words,
Telepathy would only do.
The silence became another word for my pain,
Not knowing exactly of what would become of me,
Nervousness trickling down my entire body,
Perhaps,it was a mere fiction or rather a fame,
I hated the feeling and wished it was not me.
Being the isolated self,
I cursed the cruel monster love,
I hated being pitied of,
I struggled over not showing off,
But for sure, love transcendes human control,
I behaved like a soldier on patrol.
I cried day in day out,
Like rags my heart became worn out,
Thinking of someone i cared about,
Tears watered my cheeks like an angry volcano,
Throwing my hands all over,as if i was playing a piano,
my heart, was broken like a glass.
Sometimes the shattering of a heart is the loudest ever,
I wished it was a body stab for it could heal fast,
The heartache made me live in my own desert
I wished I would relinquish,
My heart was so tired,i wished time would heal me,
Only to realize time does not heal emotional pain,
