Wrapped Around Her Finger

Wrapped Around Her Finger

She had you wrapped around her finger,

So much so, you left me to go find her.

I watched, grinning like the devil, as you walked away.

You left me speechless, no words left to say.

Sometime later you’ve returned,

Did you miss me?

Tell me what you’ve learned.

Did you find her?

Did she treat you as you treated me,

Worse than trash and trodden dirt?

Don’t look to me for forgiveness,

You made the choice to leave.

Did you win her love?

Did you succeed?

I sure hope so, because darling,

You’ve lost out on me!
