Wrestler Couple

Because I love you,

I am the best wrestler I can be

You’ve taught me takedowns, diets, and exercises

You’ve taught me pride, sweat, and confidence

You’ve taught me compassion, health, and happiness

Because you love me,

I no longer starve to cut weight

The stress, the bruises, the blood

I gave off on the mat

Not at your hand

Because you love me,

You’ve never hurt me

Because I love you,

I love myself too
