to write love

they tease her everyday at school calling her dumb, ugly, a freak all she has ever known is the school wide bullying she cant break away from the pain they torment her daily not giving a care to her feelings they push her around, not even caring each day she goes home and cries herself to sleep she wakes up again just to endure another day in hell they act like its all fun and games but the "fun" is killing her slowly she looks in the mirror doesn't like what she sees she has a blade in her hand pointed to her arm she just wants it to end, the pain, the torment is god answering her calls? or just ignoring her pleas? she doesn't care any longer about whether or not they truly care all she wants is to be loved her hand shakes as she cries silent tears she makes a tiny slit love she writes on her arms love is not real for her so she mars her arms again wearing long sleeves in the summer not caring if its too hot for they shan't know about the secret she has hidden the girl cuts her wrists because its all she has left the teasing and torment have left her broken with no one to save her from the storm she wants to feel love wants to know she's not alone maybe they'll care if she's dead maybe they'll listen then so each day she writes love on her arm to write love is what she does it could be too late to save her no one will save the poor girl

This poem is so powerful. Its amazing because of how much emotion it holds and how real a situation like this is so real. Bullying hurts and I have gone to a locker room and cried because of it. Just be strong and hold your heart, but don't lock out the ones who care. Please read my poems and tell me what you think.

The truth in this poem is painful. It's beautiful in such a bitter-sweet way.
