Write to Love
I write to love To love all of those who once knew, once had, holding on, lost, or never had I love I love for those sitting in there rocker telling the child of a love that once was A love that was so much that it was impossible for a human to hold so much love in their heart So much love that the heart gave out but not up A love that is impossible for those on the outside to understand I love for the woman sitting alone in her home that was once filled with happiness and heart Holding on to something that isn't ever coming back Sitting in the spot where he last was Reminiscing on the way she could feel the love he had for her as they would lay there Refusing to believe that she will ever love again I love for the couple who can't seem to remember the reason The reason they loved in the first place I love for the nights he doesn't come home And the days when she's had one to many with the young man from up the street When company arrives they play rolls as if the curtain has been raised As the time comes to leave the curtain is dropped and its back to the cruel reality Too lost to leave but too ready to go I love for the man who made the office his home Who let the late nights become his cover And the assistant his shield While his family was at home Unknowing of the situation Until a surprise visit would change it all No one was to blame but himself Losing it all and gaining nothing Watching as the bags were loaded and his life drove away I love for him I love for those children who never had the love of parents Who never felt the kiss goodnight The two arms wrapped around them holding them close The ones who spend their time thinking of the reasons why they aren't loved Doing anything and everything in search that someone would care enough to see and care For the daughters who never will have a father to give her away A son who'll never have a mothers touch I love for them all I write to love all, for them all to know that there is someone who loves for them even when they can't I write to love for me I write to wrap you up in my sentences To keep you falling for me at the end of every line Capturing with my words Making you love me I write to love
