To Write Poetry
Writing.
How to explain?
Like lyrics to a song,
Cheese to a pizza,
And blood in a vein.
Writing is a glue,
That holds me together.
Provides a healthy escape,
Like Neverland,
Where a child can never grow up.
It helps express,
What the heart can truly never say.
In quite a simple way.
Pour your heart,
Pour your soul,
Into writing,
Never coming unglued.
