Writer
The love overrules frustration
No time left for relaxation
Awake until the rising sun
A writer’s work is never done
Staring hard at a blank, dull page
Trying to break out of her cage
No clue how to continue on
A writer’s work is never done
No time in space can capture it
No words would ever seem to fit
Until she feels her prize is won
A writer's work is never done
Through the bitter cold ache and pain
The sweetness of a summer's rain
Be it old, young, daughter, or son
A writer’s work is never done
