Writer In The Dark

I love deep and fierce

I can capture you with my eyes.

I know you saw the glisten

You had to take a peek inside.

You feel the essence of eternity

The magnetic pull.

You have a spark too

You show me tenderly

I bask in the moistness of your breath on my lips.

The season of tongues frozen to poles

So icy, behold the breath

of the dragon.

Pupils dial, like clocks.

Kiss me in the dark

Touch me up, don't mind my bite.

Did you hear the symphonies

play deep and low?

How it sounded similar to drumming?

For all the Greatness that

you are

I conduct madly.

Hiss to to me those prayers

you love--

The ones that sound like braying.

Do you remember?

When we wrapped the string?

Through lifetime after lifetime

I searched.

Through the depth of the nighttime, you chirped.
