Writer's Block

Writer’s Block

I’m writing something, so that’s a start

Now I have writer’s block

Because I don’t know what to write about

My work here is not done

Though, I have so much to say

About everything

Even the smallest things that are going on right now

Like the sounds I hear and the things I see

Although they are unimportant in the “grand scheme of things,”

My fan blowing, cars driving by outside, bugs constantly humming, and trees swaying

All hold some significance

After all, they do contribute to me being right here, right now

Where I continue to sit down and write, just to expand upon my writer’s block

Anyways

I would like to share a quote that I learned recently

“There is never nothing going on”

The End, not

Despite the multitude of things that go unobserved

In this vast world,

They explain why there really is "never nothing” going on

But instead, "always something”

So,

The next time I sit down to write

I might think that there is nothing to write about

And I can think that all I want, until I go mad

But since “nothing” is nothing that exists

There is always “something” for me to write about

Because there is always “something” going on

Or has gone on

Or will go on

This is where my mind goes when I am burdened by

Writer’s Block
