A Writers Tale

(poems go here) A Writers Tale I started writing with my friend, We figured after school it’d end. You see for school we wrote, Our version of passing a note. We never got caught for it, We’d write all math was a hit. Talking about shopping or geese, Our writing never did cease. Then my best friend graduated, I figured the end was related. Sadly for her she quiet writing, For me thought I kept on striving I started in competitions and stuff, It wasn’t fun it was rather ruff. Then I took first and picked it up, Feeling the need to fill my cup. I started writing stories and dialogues, And now its poetry and monologues. Poetry still is my favorite no doubt, For you can find anything to write about. I am still quiet young in college now, To keep my sanity, poetry is how. Nursing is stressful and I regret, A career in writing I haven’t met. I sure hope I never stop writing, For if I do life will just keep passing.
