Writer’s Block

Trying to draw an invisible picture of words

Nothing comes off the sharp tip

Of the pen I use to build

Eloquent phrases run away

Leaving me alone behind a brick wall

What to write?

My hand’s mind starts to doodle away

While my own mind wanders to lunch

The paper is a blank dream

Too far to reach

Nothing is coming

Nothing

Nothing

Nothing

Nothing

Nothing
