Writing

The crackling sound of paper The trash pin rattling The pencil tip snaps The sharpener fills with wood. The eraser fades away Time to go to the store You grab something to eat on your way back home Eraser shavings fly Grease falls. The great line you forget, as you try to rub it off. The time ticks ten as your eyes become red. Grab a cup of coffee, Starbucks lights are still bright. The essay is almost done, only two more pages left The clock reads eleven, but you think it's one. The pencil tip breaks again The sharpener doesn't work Still two pages left as you count the flying sheep's.
