Writing

It's been a while since I've written

So pardon my lack of rhythm

But greetings to all who share the same passion of words

Who enjoy the flow of a pen against the pages of a book

Getting lost in words is an art you know

And not many have the brush for it

Nothing against them

Their brush is elsewhere

As for me my brush is writing

Always armed with a pen and a notebook

Everywhere I go just in case I get inspired

What about you? Are you the same?

Do you strive to write every day?

No, texting doesn't count

Those are phrases in my opinion, tweets if you will

Hash tags for the gist of things

Thus losing all meaning of what was to be said

How could Pride and Prejudice be described as #Jane Austin #Pride without loosing it's depth?

Don't spare your words for the sake of social media

Though I do caution, course words are never needed in any great writing

But look out the window y'all

See the clouds and describe it's beauty

Use your words

Like I do

Show the world, or just yourself that you are a writer

And welcome the growth that comes from years of writing!
