Writing

John 12:24 New English Translation (NET Bible)

24 I tell you the solemn truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces much grain.

Writing

At times writing is like picking your nose

It will itch a lot but winds up with sneezing

The harder you try the slower that it goes

Without inspiration emptiness just squeezes

There is no way of forcing and framing words

It either flows like a river or dies in a pond

It has to spring up somewhere in one accord

Beyond understanding where treasures are found

It waits in the depths of persistence and daring

Intellectual pursuit has to be thrown out the door

For life itself is far beyond living and understanding

Seemingly to grasp what's best helps us to die as before
