Writing is an Art

"Writing is a Art, just as many things are.

It's showing what you can be, that you too are the star.

It can take you places your mind never dreamed,

and inspire your heart to new things unseen.

It's beautiful, and creative, and unearthly in a way,

how words can express things, your lips fear to say.

It is the most expressive way to let yourself go,

and to show who you are, and describe what you know.

You can prove to the evil ones, all the poeple who yell,

such conniving things even the devil wouldn't sell.

That you are strong and believe in yourself,

even when your mind believes something else.

You can act on your feelings, and flow with rhymes,

show what your thinking, in a few simple lines.

You don't have to lie or hide when you write,

you can simply be free, and step into the light.

You be who you please in the moment that calls,

And to never fear your  insecurities and flaws.

You don't have to hide behind the wall we call society,

you can be who you are with your freedom of propriety.

You can love and hate the things that you choose,

and to express how you feel without a moment to lose.

But the world is tough and firm in it's thoughts,

and it's terribly afriad to think outside the box.

So scream to the world, shout out your name,

Because in this moment, it's your time for fame.

Be free, be out, be happy, be proud,

Don't be afraid to stand out in the crowd.

Don't cower, or shurg, or bend when you tread,

Stand your ground, and lift up your head.

Take a deep breath, and count to three,

and make the stand for those who wish to be free.

So write what you want because in the end,

The world might change, the world might bend."
