Writing away the woes

Dear stress,

Why are you here ?

Why is it that you sit on my shoulders?

Why is it you are always near?

Even when I feel like my problems are boulders?

What did I do to make you hate me?

Did I ruin your life like you’re ruining mine?

Is anything I do ever going to make you see?

That I’m running to the edge , I’m nearing the line.

Oh stress how you have a way of words,

If only you could understand I’m doing my best,

I try and try to let you see my good works,

but it seems you come even stronger than the rest.

Stress, please leave me alone,

im going to make my life great,

regardless of strengthening cyclone,

I have the grip on my fate.

I am stronger.

Stress, you won’t get me down,

I can hold on even longer,

even when my face begins to frown.

Stress I must thank you,

for now I am capable of anything,

you made life hard ,that is true ,

but I came back with a bigger and stronger swing.
