Writing hides

Where does writing hide?

Thoughts and ideas
so often come
in chunks.

Bits and pieces.

Moments

  i’d rather forget

emotions

  I wish i didn't feel

But that's where my writing hides

In the brief smile you

and a stranger share

almost,

as if exchanging a secret.

Too often

I glance into my life

while perfectly content,

Happy, even

where thoughts and emotion flood me.

That is where writing hides.

When you have

cried your

heart out,

laying in bed,

wondering what

went wrong.

When you watch in awe,

As your brothers

            bubbling

laugh brings you joy you

never thought existed.

Writing hides in the moments

when you feel the rays of the

                Sun

Pounding away at your face, while you listen to

                 Birds

Who's songs you will never

Care to know.

Writing hides in the most

plain places.

Keep our eyes open.

It's easy to miss.
