The Writing Process

I try to express myself
“I’m falling into this big, black pit of despair…”
Could I be anymore cliché
God, I sound like Morrisey
I try to sound deep, but I just end up sounding dark
All emotions are stark, desolate
Few and far between
I can rhyme; duplicitous and vicious. Used and abused.
I can even use big words; exhortation, exsanguination
But it doesn’t help
My thoughts are just colorful papers scribbled with random words trying to make coherent sense
But I can’t
And they don’t
It’s hard to say something prolific when millions of people are listening
