Writing The World

My paper is white, but my words are colorful I give them life It's an adventure that takes you far, far away A mind set where you wish you could stay The sheer power you have in speaking your mind Showing emotion and passion All those feelings inside I write for release, and for love, and for loss I write for freedom, for fun, oh, the many ideas that I toss I write out of sadness and anger, When I'm happy or mad I even write when I'm glad! I have nothing to hide, but everything to show Poetry is pure emotion It flows from the soul It's the eye of the storm When your mind is going crazy and you can stand it no more Manipulating words to be what I want Using my talents, I'm never afraid to flaunt Nothing formal or fancy Just simple me I'm crazy and wild Writing has set me free
