Written Words

One thing that matters,

Are the letters I’ve received.

I’ve always believed,

Writers are fighters.

If you fight for others feelings

Just by your writing

It’s a written blessing

That strums their heartstrings.

The strumming strings are my undoings

Even as I am ageing

My feelings will be blazing

As I read the written words that are my awakenings.

A letter is their written thoughts,

They are the best afterthoughts.
