Wrong

I am not okay.

I never will be.

I am the problem.

No one cares about me.

I am the darkness in a world of light.

I am the cause of so many wrongs and no rights.

I am a walking mistake.

I shouldn't exist.

Everyone hates me.

I deserve no bliss.

I am stupid.

I am pathetic.

I am not wanted.

I am a depressant.

And the world would be better off without me.

The honest truth is, those are all lies.

They are lies that I believed

For the longest time.

I am better than I thought I was.

And I owe it all to those

Who showed me love.

I have been suffering from PTSD, general/social anxiety and depression since I was very young. I often use writing as an outlet when I feel really upset and I have found it to be a good coping mechanism. My poems reflect the things that I think and feel and I hope that I can write something that people relate to.
