Wrong Place in the Wrong Time

I came from eighth.

Thrown into a new world.

Adults and children walking the same halls.

Many the same life pathways.

Surely I'll find someone similar.

No.

Opportunities washed down the drain

For the girl who's strange.

No one appreciates education- Especially not history.

Odd how I love it.

Not much for sports

Prefer studying Ancient Lothal's ports.

Don't like pop songs,

But for music of the past my ear longs

Bad for theater

And my handwriting could be neater.

Singer with stage fright.

But with a choir it's alright.

Irish dance.

Most don't know it exists.

Relating is hard

If everyone loves the opposite.

Someday I'll find a friend who doesn't mind.

Hopefully.

It feels I was born in the wrong century.
