Wrong Puzzle

I met you,

I saw you,

I liked you,

I poured myself into a mold that I thought you would want.

You met her,

You saw her,

You liked her,

You poured yourself into a mold you thought she would want.

She met them,

She saw them,

She liked them,

She poured herself into a mold she thought they wanted.

We tried to push ourselves into the puzzle of the other and in turn broke.

Maybe not in the wrong puzzle just not fitting how we hoped we would.

And now I'm broken.

I have a friend who knows which puzzle we're supposed to be in and

how it's supposed to go together.

He and I have been through this cycle a few times already.

I know he's right but sometimes he takes a long time to put the puzzle together.

So now I have to wait in the broken pieces of the mold I thought I wanted.

I have to wait for my friend to fix my brokenness.

And to put me in the right spot.

I hope he'll do the same for you and her.

The strange thing is, even though I broke the first time.

I still you know you,

I still see you,

I still like you.

I'm still trying to find the right mold that you'll want.

What a painful process.
