A Wrong in Society
Society.
A harsh place for the misunderstood,
constantly beaten and broken,
the victims crumbling like firewood.
Judgements are made,
tossed around like a grenade,
This wrong in society makes a need for first aid.
Men be strong.
Females be weak.
Americans be lazy.
All of these stereotypes needs a tweak.
Muslims be terrorists.
All teenagers need therapists.
Jews be greedy.
All black people be needy.
Society is like the earth,
delicate but necessary for all of our births.
Then, there are these stereotypes,
the cracks and the faults in our paradise.
These earthquakes tremble and mortify,
seperating people so they don’t see eye to eye.
All Asians can’t drive,
All blonds can’t thrive.
All men be messy,
All blacks be sketchy.
This list can go on and on,
unfortunately,
All Mexicans cross without any paperwork,
Women have to do all the housework.
“Some can be good though,”
thought people who don’t know.
Well all these people do is make some “no good”
Because everyone of them is misunderstood.
All Asians are smart,
according to no pie chart.
All black people are athletes,
because they have to do well when they compete.
All of these stereotypes create a lot of pressure,
so it will be good for us to take a refresher.
A stereotype is a meteor,
traveling fast towards earth,
not making it any easier.
When this rock ends up hitting hard,
it leaves the crust of the earth quite scarred.
Now other meteors want to follow for the fun,
guess what’s left when they are all done,
a scratched, charred, and broken earth which is causing anxiety,
Which is why a stereotype is a wrong in society.
