A Wrongful Way
By frivolous concealment means I wrongful intervene
Attempting to help you flee rather free
From you the same burden of what I believe is soon to be
Friend I fear I must lend you my past
So that though I unintentionally forced myself into agonizing last
You won’t have to crumble into a heart’s cast
But yet still unrevealing and still just as apparently to be teasing
Never releasing , Continuously seizing
Always secreting and not at all yielding
I conflict my purpose and like a rookie I lose my way
With the damage of my words already done I’m not sure if I even left any complications at bay
We both hide our emotions through visible display
Something I should mindfully respect by not hitting the replay
Yet I crossed even my own lines to say
When you want something so bad that you need it
Don’t rant or you’ll end up sad Don’t lead the dread of getting bite
For what you don’t admit or declare completely without wit
Will end up lost and You will have to pay the worst cost
Of forever knowing it could have been different
But still I know I conveniently also made this mistake
As I continued to fake
And this duplicitous apology I know you may not be able to accept and take
But as of now for your sake
I will straightforwardly speak what I don’t speak
Something wrong with this poem?
