(yeah I love you)
And I hate the idea of you so much,
Stroking my cheeks with your cross-hatched wrists,
Moving me with your pulse,
I know you know your dress is too short,
You just wanted the thrill of sneaking out,
You didn’t care where we were going,
Nowhere, fast,
Inside each other’s cheeks,
Stripping,
Spit dripping,
Down my stomach like I’m taking a shower,
Turning the water cold just to feel something,
And you still cut yourself, I know,
And I know that whatever I do it’s up to you,
But I’ll still cry,
And I’ll still pretend you don’t wear long sleeves in the summer,
Or emerge form public cubicles with red eyes,
I’ll just hold you because all I have is arms and chest and body,
And I love you, but I love me too,
And you need to start loving you too.
