Yeah, I'll pay for your food

Yeah I'll pay for your food

One could say that line is not very endearing

More so just considerate

But to me there's a deeper meaning to

Yeah I'll pay for your food

It's honesty through adversity

Its when the most common emotion is Candid

when they care for your well being

just as much if not more then theirs

they just might say

Yeah I'll pay for your food

when loyalty is second nature

and inside jokes become abundant

and support for one another

makes others uncomfortable as you yell their name

in sheer joy

One might say to another

Yeah I'll pay for your food

When your're the first to show up to the rescue

with chicken soup and flowers

or maybe the one who sends the first get well card

adjacent without contemplation

will always earn you a:

Yeah I'll pay for your food
