A Year Later

The weather changes once again

I tug the hoodie closer to me

Only this fall it's not yours

The neighborhood decor changes once again

I look out the pick up with a smile

Only this Christmas it's not yours

The year changes once again

I lcok eyes with peircing brown ones

Only this New Years their not yours

My age changes once again

One voice sings above the rest

Only this voice is not yours

Your hoodie

Your pick up

Your eyes

Your voice

All your things haunt me

I replaced them with his

Only forever will never be yours.
