Yearn To Know Me Right Now
Welcome or not
are we
As we enter the world,
the world of everything.
We start off
so equal, so same
but suddenly you
heir to fame
and I beome lame.
While you be the cool kid
I look like fool, Sid
While you go party
For school I shall never be tardy.
You wish for that
Pink Pretty Prada
I study all of
the flaura and fauna.
All of these cute boyfriends
you've gone through
While I never once
fell in love to...
Called a prude I was for not
acting like a teenager
But I must not see
myself as a wager.
For I am more than
that I believe...
That this path I
chose to weave
with all its bumps,
holes, cracks, hills,
mountains and chasms,
One day will lead to
an epiphany.
An epiphany I
yearn to possess
so bad.
They ask me
already by age 17
like my life as if it is
steady,
I answer with big, scared eyes
with answers that
seem like wondering
spirits' cries,
waiting to be helped,
guided through
the stages of the
mortifying yet mystifying
maze.
But I still
have not answered
you say, the
golden question of time
Who are you?
Who are you?
They yearn to know
to see, to judge,
to compare, to drag you
down into the dirt.
I'll leave you
with this to
know:
I am a beautiful
growing flower,
with the claws of a tiger
but retracted right now
The bronze may have
stomped the flowers
to the dirt
but with the soil
This flower shall
grow and you
wait, let me show
who really I am!
