Yearning

I don't wish to be saved.

I yearn for someone to sit by my side

With my hand Gently In theirs and listen.

I don't wish for someone to stitch Up all my torn bits,

but to hear the music Emitting from my wounds.

I do not wish to be saved. I wish to understood.
