Yearning,

why do young girls dream of boys? 

when boys, then men, are nightmares. 

maybe i've just been unlucky. 

in my life, it's been nothing but errs. 

mistakes of my own ploys. 

you love, they love. 

you give, they take. 

you ask, they ignore. 

eventually, it aches

you yearn, for more.

love is not enough, 

yearning is not earning, 

and sometimes it IS too tough. 

i love you. too much.
