Is that a tear that I see there?

Or is it the glow and the shine in your hair?

Is that a tear that sits on your cheek?

Or is the freckle that makes you unique?

Your beauty is there despite what you feel?

The tears that flow don’t change a thing,

And finally one day your heart will heal,

Then instead of tears you will sing,

The tears are gone and love is near,

A hero healed your broken wings,

Scars are there to show no fear,

So let's all go and enjoy spring!
