As Years Pass...

To the years that have passed

there is a time of unconscious sleep

where individuals lie and forget their dreams.

We see each person lying still in the fog,

but when the sun rises they are gone.

Many that are gone, have been forgotten

yet, many have a heartbeat within our own.

Take a deep breath and breathe

You are alive as well as they are too,

Keep in mind that you will keep their forgotten dreams

in touch with reality.

To the ones that have been lost,

close ones never felt sympathy.

Yet they still linger hoping to breathe

by the ones they had to leave.
