Yellow

My life is the ocean;

relentelss, salty, and blue.

A beast full of rage and seeing red

am I, but when I see you

I become a sunflower instead.

I am as yellow as the daffodils grow,

as happy as the Sun after a storm.

Because I love you so,

for you I'd take any form.

You are my life, my anchor, my shore,

always there to catch me when I crash.

With you, I am an ocean no more,

but rather a beautiful sunflower patch.
