Yellow
Yellow,
It’s been a while since we’ve last talked, almost a year. The Earth has kept spinning, the seasons changed, just like my life when you left. I know that I’ll never see you again. And it’s fascinating that what was once such a beautiful colour is tarnished with such a harsh reality of what is. The reality is the vibrant colour you once were has faded, now dull. You were the sun. You burnt too bright and too quickly. I never thought you’d burn out. Until you did.
