Yellow Days

The thought of it

Happening again

Unwinded my mind

My heart behind bars

Gasped for air

Another day in which I live

For the unknown mission

That I hold within my soul

Through the cracked wall

A ray delivers the news

Of a new day

A yellow day

The warmth of the lucid light

Brightens my spirit

And brings memories

Of yellow days

In which I ran through the fields of wheat

And felt the wind race against my face

Yellows days

In which the sun stood up high

But did not deliver sweat

Nor ardor.

Everyday it came

The day never failed

From east to west

Till then I await

My yellow days
