Yellow Gold

One thing I could not live without

if I were to be deserted on an island,

would be a pizza without a doubt.

To eat it on the highest highland,

treasuring it as my key to life,

as the cheese shines like yellow gold,

the solid crust breaking with my knife,

and the tomato sauce that drips red and bold.

Pizza, pizza, there are so many types.

Whether it's cold or hot, I do not care.

Either way I'm going to take bites,

out of the juicy slices that I'm going to tear.

Oh pizza, pizza. How I adore thee.

How can you not be devoured by me?
